portal 1

1. Edge Glitch

The Edge Glitch lets you stand on the literal edge of a portal and partially clip into it. Think of it like trying to balance on a pencil… except the pencil is made of quantum physics. You can place portals through walls, floors, or ceilings that normally block you. It’s perfect for sneaky shortcuts and weird speedrun shenanigans. Pro tip: crouching while doing it makes you look like a professional ninja… or just a weird floating cube. Often used to chain into Save Glitch or Portal Bump for ultimate chaos.

Works in: Chamber 3, Chamber 4, Chamber 6, Chamber 11, Chamber 13, Chamber 15, Chamber 17, Chamber 18, Chamber 19, Escape 1, Escape 2
Used with: Save Glitch, Portal Bump, Door Clip, Out-of-Bounds Launch, Reportal

2. Save Glitch

Save Glitch is basically telling the game, “I’m done following your rules.” You quicksave while partially inside a portal or wall, then reload, and suddenly you can walk through geometry like you own the place. Perfect for skipping boring sections or confusing turrets. Works best with Edge Glitch or OoB Launch to reach places you shouldn’t be. Do it right, and you’ll feel like a portal wizard casting forbidden spells.

Works in: Chamber 4, Chamber 6, Chamber 11, Chamber 13, Chamber 15, Chamber 17, Chamber 18, Chamber 19, Escape 1, Escape 2
Used with: Edge Glitch, Door Clip, Out-of-Bounds

3. Portal Bump

Portal Bump is when you shoot a portal into a corner or near another portal and… oops! It slightly clips through the wall. You can now place portals where no one has gone before. Amazing for hidden paths and chaining skips, especially with Door Clip or Save Glitch. Timing and angles are everything — one wrong shot and you’ll just be hugging a wall awkwardly.

Works in: Chamber 3, Chamber 4, Chamber 6, Chamber 11, Chamber 13, Chamber 15, Chamber 17
Used with: Edge Glitch, Door Clip, Save Glitch

4. Door Clip

Description:
Door Clip allows you to move through doors or moving platforms by exploiting a tiny overlap in collision meshes. It’s like finding a secret passage in a video game.

Works in:
Chamber 5, Chamber 13, Chamber 15

Compatible with:
Edge Glitch, Save Glitch, Reportal

5. Reportal

Reportal is a glitch where shooting a portal inside another at an unusual angle and then jumping through misplaces your exit position and velocity, effectively teleporting you in unintended ways.

6. Out-of-Bounds (OoB) Launch

OoB Launch uses momentum from a portal angle, flinging, or Save Glitch to send your character outside the map boundaries. Once out-of-bounds, you can walk on invisible surfaces, skip puzzles, or trigger doors early.

7. Prop Launch / Cube Boost

Using cubes or other movable objects, you can transfer momentum to your player to launch higher or farther than normal. This is great for skipping ledges, stairs, or even entire sections of a chamber.

8. Momentum Preservation (Save/Load Momentum)

By saving and loading mid-air, the game sometimes keeps your velocity instead of resetting it. This allows for double flings, chained skips, and other high-speed tricks.
